I'm starting at an Aveda institute in Nov and I'm wondering if anyone has attended an Aveda school??? Any info or advice is greatly appreciated. =)

"29 an really looking to change career while I feel I'm still young enough. Wanted to do such for a long time.......but discouraged by friends for a long time because I'm a man and they think I would be unemployable in Ireland.....But hey I'm seriously considering it. What do others think?. And do others enjoy it?

How long does school take for this?

I've been working a day spa for almost 5 years and I make 50% commission. An opportunity has possibly opened up for me at a spa that rents rooms to it's estheticians. So, basically after the cost of the rent, everything that I would make would go to me. Has anyone else done this?
