Just saw "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" (ironically, one of them is a woman...). As one reviewer put it, it's good "old-school action fun." Not exactly an Oscar winner, but certainly worth the tickets, and perhaps a DVD purchase... we'll see.

I now have a Minnesota state Drivers' license. I still can't drive a stick very well, but now I can drive on my own. Now I just need a car...

Also, I'll be going to a baseball game tonight with my dad and grandpa... and it's against Seattle. I'd say I don't know who to root for, but it'd be a lie - I'm a Twins fan at heart.

I just finished Harry Potter ands the order of the Pheonix here in the car on the way out to South Dakota, and I have to say I'm rather impressed. While the first two Harry Potter books were enjoyqble, they had a quality that placed them little above typical fantasy, in my opinion.
