This is the Permissions Post for Charles Xavier as played at Counted_Stars
This is also a central location for a permissions post of sorts, since Charles's power of telepathy is fairly extensive, though for the sake of sanity I'm sticking to the powers we see from him in only the First Class movies.
Reading of Minds: He can do this quickly and quite deeply with very little effort on his part. So I will try to ask before he does it and check on how far you're comfortable with him going.
Mind to Mind Conversation
Illusion - including masking himself and about a dozen others.
Over ride mental free will / implanting suggestions
Over ride physical free will
Transferring his consciousness into another body
Erasing/blurring memories
Multiple versions of all of the above at once, across multiple different people if necessary
Honestly I do not want to be using him as a deus ex machina and will be open to any necessary adjustments or even the odd 'blind eye' as necessary, please, please, PLEASE don't hesitate to contact me OOC, I'd much rather talk OOCly than risk a misunderstanding. :D
Update of 11/7/2011:
After a month of game play I figured I’d update this post with In Game developments:
Limits:
-His range is limited to whatever planet or ship he’s on but he can still range out approximately 250 miles. He has started to actively work with the Force itself to hone his control across that distance and also to have a more conscious control of the Force itself.
-As a personal choice, since it just makes sense in my head, he can not read any AI or droids.
-He can not read any BTVS canon vampires as noted here
-He gets horrific, headache inducing feedback from SPN angels as experienced here.
-While he was capable of invading Bellatrix’s mind here[Warning disturbing images] she made him work for it and made it hurt.
-He gets horrific blankness when he’s tried to read Axel
Permissions:
So far to date he’s read or mentally manipulated the following folks.
-Erik Lehnsherr - permission from mun to read completely and otherwise affect.
-Kurt Wagner - Mental illusions and other good times
-Claire Bennet - Both shallow and deep reads including what he could glen about Nathan and Sylar.
-Arthur Pendragon - A light reading he could go deeper but is trying not to piss Arthur off.
-Merlin - Telepathic chat buddy! but all jokes aside, Merlin hasn’t tried to kick him out yet but probably could give Charles a hell of a headache if Charles oversteps himself.
-Nathan Petrelli - Charles has had easier reads.
-Logan - Only because Logan was projecting, so a one time thing for now.
-Laura Kinney - With knowledge and permission.
Tony Stark - Deep readings because Tony tried to call him Chuck starting here.
-Chewbacca - Telepathy makes chatting with Chewie a lot easier.
-Dexter Morgan - An unintentional deep read that Charles is still trying to wrap his brain around.
-Various multitudes of NPCs - Seriously, they’re like jelly beans; by the handful!
-Permissions as you see in comments, though maybe not yet played out in the actual game.
