So, this is news to me, but apparently in honor of their birthday (7/11, no less) 7-eleven is giving out free small slurpees. Except that, thanks to their campaign to convert themselves into Kwik-E-Mart, they're called squishees now.

I got one. It was artifici-licious. I suggest you get one too.

So let's face it, the summer's been great so far. But you and I both know it was all a formality to kill time until Potterpalooza descended on us all. 24 hours into my first experiment with fruit beers, and everything seems to be going well so far. The recipe was for a hefeweizen with blood oranges, which means I've been toying with all kinds of potential names.
