So I've got a couple of French 5/4 waltzes under my fingerbones, and would like to learn more.

Anyone know any? I'd be glad for pointers to online sources, abc notation in a comment, or links to (gasp) sheet music...

I'm in the market for a new pickup. I've had a McIntyre- hate the sticky thingy. And I used to have the kind with the transducer that fits into a gap in the bridge, but the metal flippy bit broke. And now it's lost. I'd consider getting another one of those, but I'd like to hear from anyone else who has a favourite pickup before I just throw out ( Read more... )

help! I bought a practice mute and don't know how to put it on correctly.

so im in cape breton for march break. and i read in the news paper about the worlds largest fiddle. 4 stories high! i went and got picures of it, ill post them when theyre developed, just thought id share that =D

I've been wanting to learn to fiddle for years now. I just haven't had any luck finding a teacher.

Anyone know of a fiddle teacher, that would teach begginers in the Toronto area?
