Julia and I went to a tea party at Emma's Tea House in April.  It was only for preschoolers and their grandmas  or mommies.  We had a fabulous time.

We didn't post in April. So here goes. United Way had a bike ride in Winchester, TN. Originally 10 people were going on the bike ride. Dwayne was the only brave one that went with us. You can always count on

This is long overdue as the wedding happened almost a month ago (not quite).  This is perhaps one of the most fun yet still elegant weddings we had been to in a long time.  The night before the event all the out of town guests were invited to  a great organic restauraunt by our host, Pascal..  First time I ever had blueberry ice tea.

After landing at the San Diego airport, we went straight to the Coronado Hotel, a local landmark.  It was made of wood and very beautiful.  For retirement Denny had received the book 1,000 Places To See Before You Die.   This hotel was mentioned.  It has been around since 1888 and has quite a history.  We walked around like we owned the place, but ( Read more... )

Our friends (un-named at this time) invited me over to extracate their chainsaw from the deathgrip of a tree.
Funny, I always thought trees were afraid of chainsaws.  Didn't know they ate them.
