Kind of a combination of figure skating and some sort of engineering contest where you made robots, except that you were an important component of the robot. OK Go did a pretty cool marching band video for their song "This Too Shall Pass," and I liked it quite a bit. But they did a second video for the same song, and it just might be the coolest music video I've ever seen. -

I was just in a trivia competition and our team tied with two other teams for first. HalfPintIngalls is a Twitter feed by Laura Ingalls Wilder (her bio states "I was born in 1867 in a log cabin in the Big Woods of Wisconsin"), and it's hilarious. Especially funny if you've read the Little House books and don't mind a little fun being poked at them (lovingly), but some bits are still funny even if you haven't read them. I honestly didn't think anything of it when I was talking about fingerings on the G string in different positions, at least until people started giggling. They are perfectly legitimate music terms. Honestly, some people!
(However, I'll confess that I was being deliberately provocative when I brought up the nut, pegs, and f-holes.)
