I'm a freelancer.

I have a client who is a huge, huge pain in the rear. I've never fired a client before but I'm thinking for the client's sanity, and mine, it's best to part ways.

Is there a nice way to do this besides "you're driving me crazy and I can't work with you?" 

Quick question!  I've kind of fallen into invitation designing for things like showers, birthdays, holiday parties, etc.  What happens when someone requests an invite featuring licensed characters?  Like Disney, for example?  Do I have to pay some kind of licensing fee to use the characters?  Can someone point me to a website with more info on this ( Read more... )

Working on a proposal for an identity package with a graphics standard manual to go with it for a brand new company. How do you handle including font prices in your proposal? Should I be covering font licensing or does the company cover that cost? Obviously if they are going to use a font within their own company, for their correspondence etc... ( Read more... )
