Where have people gone?
I just got rid of a number of entries in my friends list due to lack of activity. Haven't seen posts from a number of people in a long, long time. I'm just wondering if they aren't posting at all, or are they posting to another outlet like Facebook. Anyone know? -
Lincoln/Civil War re-enactment
Had a nice time Saturday with free entertainment in downtown Bloomington. There were a bunch of sites around downtown with various exhibits, entertainment, and Civil War camps. Nice Birthday visit with parents.
My Dad and step-mom Shirley came by late Saturday afternoon for a visit after having been on a driving vacation for the last three weeks. Clarification of call area.
I wrote in a previous entry that I can be anywhere in the home health territory of my current employer while I'm on call. I learned today that isn't true, they want me somewhere near the center, "within reasonable distance" of the rest of the territory, e.g. Bloomington or Peoria or maybe Champaign. Saw the fireworks!
Went to Maxwell Park for the first time in a few years to watch the fireworks. I remember seeing them all right on previous occasions, but this time I could barely see them through the trees, which seem to have grown (fancy that). Planning on being there! After that weekend, I'll be taking call every other weekend for work. The good news is that call does not mean I can't leave home. As long as I'm still in central Illinois, I'm good.
