Good news on the hard disk front!

During rescue operations similar errors started coming up for the CD drive, which made me suspect that it was a Windows thing and indeed, once we finally located a boot floppy it turned out that under *that* the D drive was perfectly visible. My fandom is like the borg. {happysigh} Watching a perfectly genre-snobbish innocent music afficionado being sucked in is priceless. It's all the better because the poor guy is very sportsmanlike about it. Highly recommended reading.
