Bah - I just put the last serving of apple crisp that I made the other day into the microwave to heat and when I pulled it out somehow I dropped it and not only did the apple crisp spill all over, the bowl it was in shattered into a few large pieces and a bunch of tiny ones. My days continue to be pretty quiet. This morning I drove out to Avondale to go to JoAnn's and get the finishing touches for the skirt I knitted. I needed an elastic band for the waist and a ribbon for the back corset-type decoration. It turned out good, but also kind of ridiculous: it's so girly! I only have one real costume: the 1920s flapper outfit that I created for Mohamed's speakeasy party a few years ago and wore again to the costume birthday party the summer-before-last. We got home from the trip last night and back to the house around eight-something, I think.
