Just back from three days working in Orroroo, a country town in South Australia's mid North. Dry and dusty. Fun to get out and see the horizon, the full moon and a sky full of stars.

Today I frock up for my friend's wedding. She's bought me high-heeled shoes to wear. Let's hope I don't upstage the bride by stacking it as I walk down the aisle.

We may have found a house to rent. Fingers crossed.

Lovely lazy weekend. Thank God for the end of daylight savings though, I'm buggered, don't know what I'd be like if I didn't get my extra hour!

Spent late this afternoon at the pub with a small group from my bookclub. Very pleasant way to while away the day.

I feel like a change. There's an interesting job going in Canberra but I'm not sure I want that much of a change.

I'm seriously in love with my new laptop. I've finally joined the rest of the 21st century and one of these days I may even get myself properly connected. In the mean time I've discovered that all the Cibo stores in Adelaide are hotspots. As if I needed another excuse. I have just spent the better part of my day being paid to sit in on comedians talking about cultural stereotypes and identity. Fantastic shows, the kids really got into it and the comedians were just wonderful. I'm getting closer to buying a laptop so that I can finally get the internet at home, or mobile even, but the problem is I'm not that tech savvy and the more I look the more confused I get!
