Battery replaced. Alternator replaced. Starter replaced. Spark plugs replaced.

Whew! Sadly, the next repair to my car will cost only $5, but will take 2 days of no driving to do. At least it starts now.

I hope today is no different from any other day... well, in the context that every day should be like your birthday. ^-^

Bad week to be my car: new battery, then new alternator, and now (ever since replacing the battery) it won't start when the engine's warmed up.

Sounds like a relay. Easy and cheap, as long as you know where to look for it. The repair manual says it's "located somewhere in the lower front of the car, in the engine compartment." No... REALLY?

Well, there goes the first death knell of the music industry in the US. How much of that $220,000 do you think will go to any actual musicians? Exactly: not a cent. Because that's not what this is about.

Just wanted to take this opportunity to wish aquila_dominus a very happy birthday!

Sold a hefty bit of my remaining music gear today, for about a third of what it's worth.  But at least I'll be able to upgrade my 8-year old computer now, which is a good thing.   I'll miss my bass guitar, though.

Wow. It's been waffling between rain, drizzle, and 90+% humidity for the past couple of weeks around here. Not too odd for some, but quite unusual for North Texas. ( Some random thoughts thus far: )

There are few things quite as delightful as receiving a utility bill 3 days after the cut-off date.

Atmos Energy, you are asshats. That is all.

There's nothing quite as fun as casually being told to keep your hands off of everything you've ever accomplished over the past ten years.
