I would post a lot, but I just woke up from passing out at some point, and I think I'm going back to bed. But, I can definitely see where the system needs some work, now, and I'm probably not going to be the one to do anything about it. As stressful as everything has been in the last two weeks, and as uncertain as the future truly is, I feel today that I have a chance at really making a better life for myself.

I am sad about Zoe the attic cat, though.

Tomorrow at noon is when I find out if I'm still going to UNO. So, I've caught up to two weeks in advance for my homework and have traipsed around the area surrounding my apartment quite a bit. I found the best pizza place in New Orleans (Theo's) and have wandered around St. Louis Cemetery No. 3 and City Park.

Starting Friday, my weekend was pretty crazy. I started out at UNO, trying to convince the financial aid department that they shouldn't cancel my aid. It turned out I needed to turn in some paperwork from the Department of Education they didn't tell me about. Hopefully it will reach their office in time.
