Here is the thing about the pee. It's not that we have a massive odor problem and that is why I cut out the carpet. In all honesty I could barely smell it (though I COULD smell it- D couldn't). The area of carpet I cut out looks like shit with the patched carpet in place. Any person with sight will walk in and look at it and say to themselves [or aloud] "look, your carpet has patched square".

The dog and I are not on speaking terms.

They say that having a dog is good preparation for having a kid. If that theory is true, I have discovered that I would very likely kill the kid. I cannot friggen stand some of the dog things I have to deal with. That goddamn dog has peed in our house THREE times. And puked several times as well. On the CARPET. We opened escrow this morning! 30 days and counting. Now we deal with all the inspections, the lenders, etc. This is a roller coaster. I wrote to my ex. I wrote what was an honest and caring message and said many of the things I've been wanting to say as well as some new stuff regarding his current place in life.
