Moving Day
So Rob and I leave tomorrow morning for Florida. Despite our best efforts, there are still some things up in the air. The neighbors we had arranged to leave our fishtanks with so we could do the inspection and give them the keys (everything has to be out of the house) have not come back from their trip home. Madness? Where's the method?
It has been c-r-a-z-y. The packers come on Thursday and they pick up on Friday. Most of our friends here are also moving out this week, although all remarkably at different times so they can all borrow our carpet shampooer. That is how it is in the military. Crazy week
I haven't been writing much because school and life has been so all consuming. I had my last final exam on Tuesday. It was super easy. I also turned in my Lit Review on Tuesday and even though I saw my professor grade it I didn't even bother to ask him for it. He has to give us a grade for it, and originally, it was supposed to be like 20 pages ( Read more... ) -
Travesty
I have to teach the Civil War in 6 class days. I'm sad. 6 days teaching, 1 review, one test. 8 school days total, and right before spring break. Weeeeeeee -
Trying to get back on track
I know I have slacked off in my resolutions, and I am trying to get back on track this week. We'll see how that goes. We're in that stage before moving where you have so much to do it makes your head hurt. Panic! At the Computer
I check for open positions every few days in the counties anywhere close to where we are moving to in Florida. The largest one, and the one that is gaining thousands of jobs thanks to a new Army Air Field and an expanding AFB has a hiring freeze on all non-essential positions and their website essentially says not to bother sending applications ( Read more... ) -

Met another life goal
I blogged many months ago about meeting one of my life goals, paying off a car loan. Another is earning a Masters Degree, which I will have this summer. Another is actually getting a teaching job, which I hope to have in the fall. Yet another life goal is to buy a house.
