I once worked in a hi-kill shelter in CA. People would bring in animals that we simply did not adopt out; ferrets, for example. We told the owners that when they left, we would euthanize their pet. Seriously, my older cat is taking advantage of me. I had to pay a special visit to Petco earlier today for more cat food. Petco's honest slogan should be "It's where your money goes."
