Awful. Have you even read Toni Morrison? Are you basing what you know-which is obviously very little, for all the bluster of your post-just because Oprah likes it? Did you know she's also chosen some William Faulkner novels for her book of the month club? Have you even read Faulkner? Should only non-minority, alcoholic, southern professors force their students to read The Sound and the Fury?

I understand it's easier for you to dismiss something out of ignornace than to, ya know, read. So keep patting yourself on the back.

Ps. And don't respond by listing all the crap Oprah's chosen. I'm well aware of it.

the problem with these sorts of posts is comments should be screened so "some people" (okay, me) don't feel intimidated into not even guessing by the other comments made.
