It's a talent.  Right now, I should be reading my American Lit and finishing my Capstone (almost done!), but instead I'm blogging, lol.

So really, all I want to know is, how is everyone out there?  I feel so disconnected from all of you! ;p

No, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth; I've just been buried up to my neck in homework.

I've only got about another week to finish my Capstone project. 
I've also been applying to graduate schools (I've got 9 applications to fill out...). 
I'm studying for the general GRE retake on Nov 3 (I just took the Lit in English GRE last Sat).

...is an amazing movie.  I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.  Julie Taymor is a directorial genius, The Beatles are a phenomenal band, and Bono is my second hottest guy on the planet.  What more could I ask for?  Well, I guess Ian could have made a cameo, but I can't always get what I want, lol.

It's a luxury in which I've decided to indulge tonight.  Thus, this journal entry.

Here is what my day looked like:

Woke up, got ready
Went to English building to get my Capstone proposal signed and get enrolled for credit for it
Printed out application for Phi Beta Delta (international honors society)

I have just discovered an amazing site from which to download free music: Ruckus.  It takes a lot of tweaking to make the songs compatible with my MP3 player, but it's worth it.

This is one of the best days of my life; it's right up there with meeting Ian and going to Europe.

Yep, I'm sick.  My sinuses are so swollen they feel as if they're about to explode.  My head simultaneously feels like someone is driving a nail into my temple and like it's floating (which is, btw, a really weird feeling).

On the plus side, I don't have much homework to do today.  I've just got to write a few more pages of my Capstone (so far, 3 ( Read more... )

Well, the first week of class has come and gone.  The things I've learned:

1. I hate middle English.  No, seriously.  Chaucer can shove it.
2. Professors who spend nearly an entire class period taking 3 steps forward and 3 steps back annoy the hell out of me.  Hold still!

The last few days, the Midwest has been slammed by thunderstorm after thunderstorm, causing rivers to overflow their banks and the roads to be slippery.  Doesn't this sound like the perfect weather condition in which to move back to college?
