Instant Pot.
I picked up an Instant Pot during the Amazon Prime sale, and tried it out today. My mom put the fear of explosion in me years ago (she had one explode, although fortunately she wasn't hurt -- but she did scare me telling me about it), so I was making all kinds of scared faces while it did its thing. Happy to report:
Bei Bei started off a little down this morning, but when I called both cats for breakfast (a can of food for breakfast, not our usual process), he came in and ate quite well. And when I came home from lunch he was snoozing, but woke up and then played a LOT more like normal. He and Mei Mei are having some treats right now, after a complicated game ( Read more... ) -

Friday!
Well, it's 104* today. But on the bright side -- well, brightER -- the Lawn Fairy visited and mowed the yard. (I assume it was the landscaper company. I have no idea.) So even if it is hot enough that my cats both asked quite rapidly to go back inside the house, at least the yards look better.

Maters!
I was out watering tonight and I spied with my little eye -- two baby tomatoes!!
I actually have a shameful confession. There may be more tomatoes, but I can't tell, because it's got so much weed action. I just can't keep them under control. So my un-caged tomatoes sprawl all over creation, and hell if I know for sure.
