Week Two and a meme thingy
Sooo... 38,000 words in two weeks is entirely possible for me. Possible, but in no way advisable. My favourite line of the dribble I've been writing so far has been 'You're all crap and weird, and I hate you' because it sums up the whole story, but also kind of makes me laugh. NaNo is very much like schoolwork. I know this because I can look around and see that the house is spotless, my toenails are painted, all my songs on i-Tunes have appropriate cover art and my phone's buzzing with unanswered messages because (put on sanctimonious voice) I'm working. To NaNoWriMo or not to NaNoWriMo...
I'll admit it, I'm kind of terrified by the idea of having to write 50,000 words in a month because that's so not how I write. I'm more of the 'write a little bit, obsess over it for two weeks and then write a little bit more' type of person. Then again, maybe that means that it'd be good for me ( Read more... ) -
