So. I've heard a *lot* about this show called Breaking Bad. I've seen tv writers and critics go nearly speechless in their appreciation of what they see on screen. Is it really that good? I know the regular fall season is beginning, but I'm always looking for a good show to mainline over a weekend or two.

So last night I had a lovely dinner with bigtitch and J. at the Thai Pot. (Thanks loreley_se for the recommendation!) In addition to great food and good company, the conversation ranged from topic to topic.

And at one point, I was being regaled by quotes from "Yes, Prime Minister". I found this one particularly amusing -- and still so very true I suspect!

Twelve years ago today the world rocked on its axis and things changed in a fundamental way. Travelling into London this morning I couldn't help but reflect on all that has transpired.
