Hyatt misses the point
One would think as a member of a hotel affinity program one would be able to see all pending reservations for rooms. Hyatt utterly misses the point - retrieving such information requires providing checkout date and the credit card number the room was booked under? Uhh, Hyatt? I think you miss the point. -
Financial Institution Fail
After returning home from work, I dig through the mail. I opened what looked like a financial statement from an institution I've never heard of. Beer Pouring Academy
calapurr and I did a trial for FCN where we brought three sixth barrels of brew and a portable CO2 dispensing system. An embarrassing amount of brew was poured over the weekend, and we've jumped into a system for home given the success. An unexpectedly sad day
Today my grandfather of 81 years passed away. While by any measure he was with us for as long as anyone can reasonably expect, it's still very difficult to cope with the loss of close family. Cala and I were recently sharing dive pictures with a WoW friend who's a commercial diver in Hawaii, and I realized I didn't have a related icon. So here it is! Navy MkV Hardhat, over 50 pounds of brass (let alone the lead boots, lead belt and canvas drysuit) from a Labor Day dive trip at Dutch Springs, PA.
