So, HEY!!!! I'm back! Yay, yay, yay!
Well, I'm back briefly. My incredibly busy time is still ongoing, but it's nearing the end. At the moment, I have a brief - like, 5 minute - break to sit and blog a bit while I wait for a chance to get the bathroom and wash my face for the night, so I'm doing it.

resignation
So, I resigned from my job today. I went down to Denver and told the senior partner that I was giving my 2-week notice. He's a super nice guy, and I really admire him. Macy's Parade ramblings
Right after breakfast this morning, I turned on the TV and started looking for the Macy’s Parade. I absolutely LOVE the Macy’s Parade! I’ve watched it since I was a little girl and to me, it represents almost everything that is Thanksgiving. It’s so fun! How could anyone not love it??

Beautiful things and other weekend blah-blah-blah

Coffee
So, the UPS guy just stopped by and dropped off my latest fun online aquisition. In honor of my upcoming new job, and the slightly longer drive once per week to the office, I got a new travel coffee mug. It's a nice stainless steel one, and it simply states, "I Love Commuting." Got it from the Onion.

I Hate Cooking
Sorry, but I do. I know a lot of you don't, that you actually enjoy this never-ending task of food preparation and cooking, not to mention the planning and grocery buying and all that crap. Sitting here relaxing, as Calvin watches a show about how jelly beans are made and I'm contemplating getting some sleep. I'm very happy, having hosted a successful local meeting tonight for the Air & Waste Management Association chapter.
