This past Saturday Katie and I, and a friend visiting from Minneapolis, went to the opening day of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. One of the things I'm learning about New Mexico, is that it a place of beautiful sky. In the absence of anything written (seems I don't have time these days) I thought I'd just post a few pics I've taken in the last few days. We're in our "monsoon" season and so the sunsets are often adorned by clouds.

This past Sunday Katie and I headed out west toward Gallup, New Mexico, which is right at the Arizona border. We didn’t make it.
