I have taken a LONG break from LJ and sorely miss all of my friends and your updates. It was a much needed break as I found myself getting sucked into the great black internet hole. I hadmy last meeting on Wednesday. I am so pleased with my progress, 8 weeks and 18 lbs lighter. I can't believe how much more energy I have and how great I feel about myself. I went into Ann Taylor loft yesterday and walked out with a size 8 pair of jeans and medium tops! The beginning of the summer I was buying size 14 pants and large tops. ( Read more... )

Katarina had soccer practice last night so I brought the stroller to walk around the track with Leo. I started off at a brisk walk and then would alternate walking and running half the track. Manny and I sat down and did the budget last weekend. We were able to cut over $400 a month, mostly from Manny's commute. He drives downtown which is about 30 miles each way and cost us roughly $60 a week in gas. He also has to pay $65 a month to park in the garage at work. This weather really sucks here. It is 36.4 right now outside. I wish we were back in the keys where it is nice and warm. At least it is sunny today.

I have decided to hand in my resignation tomorrow to Gymboree. I've been there for 1 1/2 years and I am needing a change. If not what would you pay?

I am also making coordinating hairbows and shirts with a ribbon across the chest and a bow.

Is this something I could put up on Etsy?
