I just got back from seeing Annapolis. It's even more cliche-ridden than the trailer would have you believe. Odd thing though, is that the trailer had scenes of ships blowing up, which were nowhere to be seen in the movie. I wonder if they reworked the storyline...as it plays now, that ship scene wouldn't fit in at all.

I passed my Chinese tests...85.5 on the reading, and 90 on the listening. Thank God that's over now.

I just finished watching Crash (the 2005 one). Excellent movie, and one I'd recommend to everybody.

I also watched Red Eye, which wasn't all that great, but was decent enough. I actually had something of a Rachel McAdams weekend, as I watched Mean Girls and Wedding Crashers too. I have to say I'm rapidly becoming a fan of hers.

I went and watched Munich last night. I liked it a lot. It was actually more suspenseful in parts than I thought it would be. It was an all around great film.

Sigh, I go away for 2 weeks, and come back to problems. I went to go pick up my old Mazda from the long term parking area (had to park it there while I was away for Christmas break), and discovered that 1) the battery was dead and 2) I had a $200 fine (plates were expired). My holiday is going well. I haven't done much at all, which is fine by me. I've read 4 books so far this week, and am on #5 (The Historian). Right now I'm up at my Mom's house. There's nothing really to do here, so I've been watching some of my movies (I forgot how many I had up here!), and have read my books. I haven't studied at all yet ( Read more... )
