So this past weekend, Nick and I headed to Black River Falls State Forest for a weekend winter backpacking trip. I had never been backpacking in the winter before, but Nick had gone many times and I'm lucky enough to have a big brother who does the same, and was also willing to loan any extra gear we needed. :)

The Good: Walking home from the UW Hospital where I work, to Tenney Park near where I live on Monday, during the beautiful warm weather (40F!!).... across the lake. Monday night I finally returned from two weeks of Pennsic. It was an amazing time as usual and I'm still all smiles despite still fighting a cold I came down with the last few days of war. Since there are too many things to describe, I'll just list the highlights:

So just a few weeks ago, our bunny came down sick with head tilt. At first it was just a wobbly walk and unsteadiness, but by the next day, his head was starting to really tilt and his eyes were rolling from vertigo. Yesterday we got home a little early from work so as not to be traveling when the supposed Tornado Storm Of D00m!!1! was to arrive, and were just relaxing in front of the t.v.
