Jury Duty
I have jury duty in SLO tuesday. I am now living in SF. I kinda want to do jury duty as I've never done it before. I reckon that I can just fax in tomorrow and check the box "Not a SLO Country person" and get out of it. I'm still alive. I am here (SF) this week, and off to LA and Vegas next week/weekend. That is it for my update, for now...
Update(+6 hrs): I need new car insurance too! -
Old Friends
I was just jumping around in my email from 10+ years ago; in the last few years I have collected, and indexed, it all. It is strange to remember the faces and character of people whom you haven't thought of in years, or talked to in many more before that. I wonder what people are up to. Crowded underground trains
I rarely get up in time to catch the commute hour trains on muni; today was different - I was in the thick of things. It was great. I got to watch all kinds of different people pile onto the train. In fact, I got to watch as four inbound trains, which were full to the brim, stopped and passed by as everyone watched (without being able to jump on). ( Read more... ) -
I gave in...
I bought one of my favorites today on the corner of 18th and castro on my way back from work. There were some really ugly girl scouts, I'm assuming they were girl scouts, who were selling cookies. I bought my favs. I put them in the freezer; they are better cold and crisp. -
so much technology
I am back in SLO for 20+ hours picking up stuff for the next few months. I will be living with Jeff in SF for a few months while I do consulting. It is exciting, and will be a good learning experience. I have, on the guest bed where I'm preparing my things, all kinds of technology. Work was okay, and pretty long day. I got in before 10:30am (pretty early for me in the office) and left around 7:30pm. A full day.
I had a rather uneventful valentines day. ( muni breakdown ) -

Tahoe, Sickness, and a Job?
I got back from a great weekend in tahoe with friends. I think it may have been too much as I now feel sinus action and a little drained.
