Foreign Accent
Since my mum is British, I have enough of an English accent that people sometimes notice, but not nearly enough that they go, "Oh, she's obviously from England, all right then." They have to ask. Facebook is a creeper
It's started advertising Lesbian Valentines to me. And LGBT Pride t-shirts. And whatever else. I haven't told it whether I'm interested in men or women. And I think it wouldn't assume I need a bunch of LGBT tchotchkes unless it figured it had somehow figured out my orientation without my ever telling it. Pandora Radio is rather eerily clever. If you input "I Can't Decide" (by the Scissor Sisters), it will, it seems, play you "Cigarettes And Chocolate Milk" (by Rufus Wainwright) right off the bat.
