For three years in a row, I've had a Mardi Gras party in the library for the teens. Each year, they demand that I make the gumbo recipe that I found when first I planned this event. I recently came across a Washington vineyard that not only produces an excellent merlot but also a tasty cabernet..and I'm not a big fan of cabernets. This one, however was delicious. They're both reasonably priced (under $20).
