Spring Flowers
Yay! It's spring! Well, at least it is down here! While everyone in the Northern Hemisphere is entering autumn and heading towards winter, it's finally warming up here. It's about time. We've had an unusually cold winter for Perth and I'm ready to defrost!

Carrots and peas
Spring has well and truly sprung, and the garden is being very fruitful.
Do you want a good laugh? We pulled some carrots from our garden today. These ones are a little "different", don't you think?

Walking with a couple of other people...
I went for a walk yesterday. It was a part of the annual Perth City to Surf Fun Run. There were several categories - marathon, half marathon, 11km wheelchair, 12km run/walk and the 4km run/walk.
The total number of participants over all categories was 40,000! That's a lot of people!

Chilly
It's been very cold here! All of a sudden the temperature (day and night) has dropped very low (for Perth). The maximum yesterday and today were 15.1C and 15.6C, respectively. This is what our back yard looked like yesterday when the minimum was 0.2C.

Error messages in LJ
Has anyone else had a problem clicking on links in LJ?
More often than not over the last few days, when I click on a link to view a poster's comment, I get an error message at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen (and no connection). If I click it again, it will connect...

The drought has broken - rather violently!
We had a "little" storm this afternoon...
After almost four months of extremely dry weather, we learned this week that a thunderstorm had been forecast for today.
