The vegetable garden and more
After yesterday's scorcher, some of my flowers are looking a little worse for wear today. A temperature transition from the low '20s to the high '30s in the space of a day does not make for good things to happen in the garden!
However, the vegetable garden fared much better (just a couple of scorched leaves on a silverbeet plant).

Sorry for the pic-spams over the last few days - including this one! It's just that the garden is looking so good at the moment that I want to record all of it while it's still here (and it isn't going to last very long)!

More Flowers
Despite the persistent rain, I've managed to get outside long enough (just!) to take a few photos of the garden.
The linarias have finally been released from all of the weeds that had surrounded them over the last few weeks and are now happily blooming in their various-coloured splendour!

Spring Showers
I know I've been complaining about the amount of rain we've been having lately, but it really is good news for our dams! As of Friday, they are at 50.3% capacity.
So far this month, we've only had one day without rain. We've totalled 65mm (between 0.2 - 12mm per day) - just enough to interfere with going outside for long periods when I want to!

Spring Flowers
Spring has finally arrived in my garden. 2-3 years ago, many of the flowers would have bloomed 2-3 weeks earlier. The seasons are getting later and later. Who knows, we may eventually swap seasons with the Northern Hemisphere! :)
The freesias make it a pleasure to walk in the garden - both the colours and the fragrance wafting as you walk past.

Raindrops
We've had a fair bit of rain over the last few days. Makes for some good flower pictures!
I particularly like this one. Another partially-opened hyacinth bud is reflected in the raindrop on the left.
