Brain waking
I'm in Canada for a few weeks. I'll post properly when I've got a keyboard, but wanted to write a note to say it feels that the writing/creative bit of my brain is waking after a long slumber. It' so good. More anon. -

It's 2013. Happy New Year.
Christmas was good, with my godson's family at their elder daughter's place in Manchester. Today I finished my MA. As in, I handed in a complete script for a play which is the last piece of work I have to submit. By coincidence, I also got an email saying that the induction meeting for my PhD is 5 weeks from today. *blinks ( Read more... ) -
Race for Life - tomorrow!
It's been raining recently. A Lot. Tomorrow I'm planning on running 3 miles around what will no doubt be a muddy field that will give Glastonbury a run for its money. My Mum was for many years head of department at a large secondary school. After my Dad's death she retired to the North-East of England, where she grew up. She had a full and active life here, socialising, a member of local history and reading groups, taking courses with the U3A and walking with the Ramblers ( Read more... )
