I had leftover baba ghanoush from last night and corn tortillas from enchiladas we made a while back. I heated up the tortillas then filled them with the baba ghanoush and rolled them like crepes. Very tasty.
I wonder if anyone has ever done this before.

I'm back in Las Cruces. I've decided to sequester myself in the library since I haven't been very productive the last few days and my apartment is full of people watching the World Series. I'll be on IM later tonight.

I can tell that someone two lab computers away from me is listening to rap music on his iPod earbuds. I could probably even identify the song, but I don't recognize it. I'm going to be amused when my peers are forced to retire early because they've gone deaf.

My coworkers had a little going away party for me since my last day is tomorrow. I work with some good people, but I'm really glad to be going. Moving data from one program to another by hand is getting extremely tedious and my boss had been too busy to find work for me during the past few days. I spent part of today on the phone with tech support in another state while someone used VCN to poke around in Citrix on my machine. Surprisingly, I've done the exact same thing at my old job. I didn't think warehouses and newspapers would have so much in common.

I started work at the mine last Wednesday. Well, when I say work, I actually had 24 hours of mostly irrelevant safety training last week. I finally get to start being productive tomorrow, starting at 6:30 after a 30 minute commute. This is going to take some time to get used to, but it appears to be fairly easy computer stuff and the pay is pretty

I'm back home. . . or I'm back in Carlsbad at least. Home is a funny idea.
