On gochamaze (2014.01.13) tetsuya said on his first meeting with hyde and pero they had a session together playing Buck-Tick’s Aku no hana.
Did hyde moan all the time like Atsushi Sakurai? I guess he wasn’t that effective, since tetsuya said he was impressed more by hyde’s hair than by his voice XD I’d like to hear that version!!!

I’m writing a short report for my dear nagaokagetora, who wanted to read fan reviews of VAMPS Europe tour.
I’m not able to write a proper and detailed report, but I will leave here my most precious memories.

hyde: The words in the title itself rhyme. Realizing the existence of these words I used it in the temporary lyrics. I searched basically for words that can warm you up while drinking. I chose words that go well with alcohol as much as possible, but I wanted more.

From what hyde said in several interviews, it’s possible to detect at least 3 main concepts for SEVENTH HEAVEN lyrics, and these are very well entangled inside the text; I have separated them for clarity’s sake.  Here I will focus on how much these themes affected the sounds. Here it is the last part about SEVENTH HEAVEN music with ken’s and tetsu’s thoughts. With some nice and interesting remarks by tetsu on hyde’s way of singing.
I was surprised as I found so many info on this song. It’s wonderful, of course, but the number of post is increasing rapidly. And I haven’t touched the lyrics yet. I’m still half-way…

( ken: I think hyde played the guitar very well! (laughs) It gives you the impression to go on rolling over and over! It rocks! Rolling over and over! Somebody stop it…! No, doesn’t have to! (laughs). I played the guitar aiming at recreating that atmosphere as much as possible. )

Personally, another thing that I love about L’Arc-en-Ciel is that every member has different musical tastes and abilities, and this affects band’s work. It is because they are aware of this difference that they can rely on each other’s abilities and try to go for something new.
L’Arc-en-Ciel is really a band “without boundaries” as hyde said.

Even if I’m sooo happy that VAMPS are on tour and that they will soon come to Europe (already purchased my ticket ^^V), on the other hand I miss Laruku so badly.
It’s really nice to read translations about them and their music, especially the ones on their official facebook page. But I hope they’ll release something/resume their activities soon…><
