During the day I hear birds chirping and kids playing and at night I hear an occasional night bird and lots of crickets. The house next to us has a wooden wheelchair ramp and I hear the kids running. I haven't posted in a while. Not much going on really. The heat is doing a number on me as usual. I have a car with a working AC now so I get relief after work when I need it most. I'm trying very hard not to use the AC at home because it costs too much ( Read more... )

The women upstairs recently lost their Dad and the funeral was yesterday. I feel so bad for them because they lost their Mom last year and their brother a few months later. Their brother had a heart attack and was in a coma for a month before he died. And now their Dad. I can not even fathom how horrible this must be ( Read more... )

The fireworks in my neighborhood started going off around the first week of June. At first it was just starting in the day and ending about 11pm. Then as it got closer to July more and more went off. Today is my day off. Last day off I had I got so much accomplished and it felt so good! I'd like this day off to be the same. I realized that getting things accomplished is almost better to me than going out and having fun with no purpose other than to have fun. My computer is directly in front of a window. I have it wide open and am enjoying the thunder and rain. So peaceful. I have a ten hour recording of thunder and rain storms to help me sleep that I use sometimes but this is better. The real stuff ( Read more... )
