I've been back to work a few days and it's been great. My hand is almost completely healed. Like you can't really even see the incision anymore! The finger is bent a bit more than before but the Dr said I should try to stretch it and it may or may not come back. Today I get the broken stitches taken out of my hand. Whew! After that I guess I'll be officially ok to do whatever I want. As in submerging my hand in water etc. Not literally ANYTHING I want of course. There are rules we all have to follow after all ( Read more... )

I've discovered I get a lot more done when John isn't home. He doesn't prevent me from doing stuff but I seem to want to do things around the house when I'm alone. Today is the day I was told I could take my bandage off. What a relief! My hand felt like it was just marinading under the bulky dressing. Ick! After I got it all washed up I realized that both stitches appear to be broken.
