So I'm changing my whole format for my recital. I was having trouble with Schumann's Frauenliebe und Leben because it seemed like absolute sap to me. Soooo I'm having a ballad theme to my recital...one of my featured songs will be Schubert's "Erlkonig." Last night's performance went off pretty well considering that we've only had 9 rehearsals for the show...and that includes the sitzprobe and dress rehearsals...since we didn't have any stage directions everything was pretty much improvisation. Well the people here at work keep saying that there will be hours that I have nothing to do, but so far I am constantly on the run. I LOVE being busy, but as with every job, I look forward to the point where I have learned everything and feel relaxed. I just saw on the message board for classmates.com announcing St Amant High's Class of 1997 TEN YEAR REUNION! O MY GOD! It will be TEN YEARS next May when my high school class is having the reunion. I'm still in college living off of student loans without having a real job. I think I'm going to go slit my wrists now.

I had my first job interview in months today. It's at a vintage retro diner called Minnie's that's at a real hot spot in my neighborhood. The manager seemed to like me...I had already sent in my resume but they wanted me to fill out an application...I was a little mift at the thought of having to fill out one since they already had my resume.
