Met with mortgage broker. Will get kick-ass rates. Yay for cronyism. Also, Californian mortgage brokers scoff at the pittance it takes to buy a house in MI.

Well - I was just treated to a loverly day of pampering by dethinwntr and michelemortem. We went to Belle Visage, a swank little day spa in Studio City, and spent the day being groomed and cosseted. I had a massage, a facial and a mani/pedi. The guy who did my nails was a fabulous man named Michael who totally shared my love of Project Runway. We bonded ( Read more... )

I am awake and today I *will* stay awake. Power of positive thinking.

I have things to do and phone calls to make and I will not crawl back under the covers for "just a few minutes". F'real.

I just now realized that today is Fat Tuesday. I didn't realized that Paczki Day wouldn't be celebrated in Los Angeles! Of course, it makes sense now that I think about it - LA County doesn't exactly have tons of Polish Catholics. My question is - Will Krispy Kreme serve as an adequate replacement for paczki?

Had a doctor's appt. this morning which went swimmingly, as usual. Now I have to go every two weeks - this means we're getting close to the end. Very exciting. I'm getting into a "nesting" phase.
