So yeah, creating posts to edit in later is a tad lame, but I wanted to make sure I had chronology maintained. I hate when canon's inconsistent, y'know? And for better or worse, this journal's the public canon version of my life. Might as well keep it in order.

Another to be edited entry, about the last week. Which included lots of staying up way too late, apartment shopping (and deciding), a smidgen of unnecessary angst, and beef jerky. I'll take care o' this later.

I hadn't planned on going to Convergence, but Dan Bayn, the GM for the Star Wars campaign I've been in for the last few weeks, cancelled our Saturday game, and my mom decided to go up north to a cabin for her birthday weekend, so my weekend became suddenly wide open. And hey, I'm a geek, so I figured it'd be fun. Short version: I had a blast.

Tonight I got the call I've always hoped for, deep down. Tomorrow my old car will be towed away to be donated to the Vietnam Veterans' Association. I assume it will be divided up equally between them, each one taking his turn with hammer and chisel and wrench, taking his pound of carflesh in compensation for his missing limb and PTSD.
