Today, for the first time in my entire life, I felt like running. I was sitting in my car in the parking lot at work and I just couldn't bring myself to gather my belongings to get out of the car. I've been thinking alot about this year...I've made some pretty big accomplishments, and have been living through quite a few failures. Biggest up for me this year was graduating. That's hands down. december rants
Tomorrow marks my 1 month anniversary dealing with this awful sore throat. I've been trying my best keeping up with remedies to get rid of it; tea, salt water, medicine, honey and lemon, some vicks tasting concoction dad bought at the spanish supermarket, kumquat juice, pineapple juice, orange juice...I'm at my wit's end right now. I love my family.
So far the past couple of days have been great. I've had a bunch of family visiting in from NY and we've done nothing but just chill and shoot the breeze. It's been a real nice break from coming home and cleaning or doing something in relation to the pig-sty of a room I'm living in at the moment. So it's been almost 2 weeks since I've been back in Orlando and my gawd, is it ever hot. I mean, I knew that it would be but...MY GAWD it's fuckin' hot. The trip back was nice but tiring; we drove the 29 hours in about 2 days making only one stop Athens GA to see a friend of ours about a possible mural job. So things are going steady...we're not as finished as I'd like to be, but at least we're getting there. there's just alot of little crap that we still have to pick through. So it's official.
I'm on borrowed time. What has amounted to 3 years has suddenly dissipated to 2 weeks. What's this mean? That 2 weeks from today, I'll be well on my move to Orlando. I gotta say, it's kinda surreal. Gosh, it's really nice to have Dee Jay back home again. He'd been out working his butt off for the first SES session and although I was thrilled he was making money it was getting real lonesome at home.
