OS X is really very pretty. Apple's stuff has a cohesion that GNOME and KDE generally lack, each possibly due to the existence of the other.

Really Simple Syndication is great. It's an easy way for me to grab content from a whole bunch of different places and put it in one place. I can read things from more websites than I could possibly remember to visit every day.
