My crappy summer
I had my 50th birthday back in May. Turning 50 didn't bother me, at first, but my summer has not been good and I'm thinking I should have stayed at 49.

Progress?
I made it through the work week. I did leave early Thursday. Still not able to eat much without being sick, and it's difficult to stay hydrated since I'm going to the bathroom so often. I tried some Gatorade, but the flavors are so bizarre, I wasn't sure which one would agree with me. Kool-Aid seems to be working though. Strange ( Read more... ) -
This is spring?
I’ve been sick for a month. Ugh. Every time I think I am feeling better, I relapse. My co-workers thought I was on a diet, I have lost that much weight. It started with a GI upset, which is probably my Crohn’s acting up. I went to see the GI doctor, and she wants to do tests of course. Book bargains
Just thought I would share the info that Better World Books is offering major discounts on their inventory, and free shipping. I went there looking for some good used copies of a favorite mystery series and ended up getting 17 books for $2.74 a piece. Shipping and tax included!! Snow day
Okay, I give in. After a week or so of below zero temperatures, with wind chills bringing the "real feel" even lower, I am wimping out today. Yesterday, it was -8 degrees while driving to work, and the wind was gusting to 25 mph. It was also snowing, and with the wind, white outs were an issue. The drive home was not much better.
