Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
More in terms of word count, less in terms of actual number of fics. I'm pleased with the turnout, though!
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January?
I definitely didn't think I'd be able to write real porn this year. Yep. Also, I've branched out to different pairs! I also started stanning (and writing) BaekSoo this year so yup.
What's your own favorite story of the year?
I'm really torn. I think it's a toss-up between Does this song make me look fat? and The perfect words never crossed my mind. Porn writer!Kris was really fun to write!
Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
I took an anon's writing advice into consideration and started to be more careful with writing, making sure that my characters don't come off as detached. I... also attempted to write for Infinite again? And more allusions to porn! Yay!
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year?
Diversify in terms of pairs that I'll be writing, write more in general, write faster... In terms of WIPs, I want to write The Voice KR AU once and for all, then finish my fics for exorelieffund and exoforsichuan.

You know how to sing and Spin you 'round through the roar of this crowd, possibly? Not really under-appreciated, but not as well-received as the others.
Most fun story to write:
The perfect words never crossed my mind and TM 45, but TM 45 was more painful that fun. IT JUST. WON'T. END.
Story with the single sexiest moment:
The scene where Joonmyun helped Jongin get off (while Jongin was in Joonmyun's body) in When you're looking like that. I mean, come on - Joonmyun sucking himself off. HOW HOT IS THAT.
Most "holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:
Rest and Recreation, because it's the first real porn I've written, and I want it that way because OH DEAR JONGDAE EATING FEM!JOONMYUN OUT???
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
Everything I wanted and You know how to sing. I kind of came to love Minseok and Jongdae more because of these two fics.
Hardest story to write:
TM 45, not only because of the length but because I haven't written an Infinite fic in AGES.
Biggest disappointment:
Spin you 'round through the roar of this crowd? I don't think I was able to do the SeKai backstory justice. :(
Biggest surprise: Possibly
Sizzle. I don't smoke but I thiiiink I was able to capture the smoking bits pretty well. I have smoker friends to thank for that.
Most unintentionally telling story:
Definitely Does this song make me look fat?. It has a lot of references to real life occurrences.
Favorite Opening Line(s):
- In this dream, Joonmyun would probably be holding a second trophy for a daesang, raising it in the air with both hands while giving his speech and trying to keep his tears at bay. ( +)
- There's nothing but emptiness on the other side of the sound booth, save for Baekhyun's hunched figure slumped in a corner. ( +)
- The first time Joonmyun smokes is on SM Entertainment's rooftop, at half past three in the afternoon, with Jongin's hand cupped in front of the stick between his lips. ( +)
- It is the golden age of tennis for Asia. ( + // wip)
- When Joonmyun sees Lu Han for the very first time, it isn't anything special. ( +)

- Kris pushes hard, but Joonmyun pulls harder. It’s a game of give and take and take some more. There’s already too much of Joonmyun in Kris that he picks up even the faults and flaws in Joonmyun’s play. There’s too much of Joonmyun in him that he isn’t sure if there’s anything he can give anymore, or if he’s just giving everything back. ( + // wip)
