I think I will keep a list of the books I have read this year. I always hear about the "50 book challenge", so I think I will keep a record. Thus far:

1) "The Brothers Karamazov", Fyodor Dostoevsky (re-reading of a classic, brilliant as always)

This weekend was low key and relaxing. Saturday we ate an early dinner at Shady Grove, then went amp shopping. Blue Jester found a great Fender amp in his price range that he can carry about, and he also decided he needs this guitar. Tacky in such a rock star way, isn't it? One of my resolutions was to learn to play the harp. I have my first lesson next Thurday night at 7:00. Wish me luck!

It is looking more and more like dearest, darling kayleighraven will be coming to visit us! I am already getting excited about the prospect...too bad she can't slip a few bottles of Scrumpy Jack through customs. I can get tinned Heinz beans here, prawn cocktail crisps, Cadbury Flake and tinned spotted dick, BUT NO SCRUMPY JACK! Ach, well.
