The vandalism fairy rides again

This time the vandalism fairy left a bucket of used motor oil. Only... I didn't stop to wonder what it might be a bucket of before I tipped it over to let it drain out. A few bags of bedding, some kitty litter, and some leftover USED kitty litter later, it's basically contained ( Read more... ) -
One car recovered!
Thank you to everybody who made sympathetic noises at Anne and me regarding our stolen cars. I have regained possession of mine with only cosmetic damages--the thief kept the Honda logos. Anne's is still missing. -

Anne and I walked out of the house this morning to get in our cars to go our respective ways only to discover that BOTH our cars had been stolen. -
Interpersonal interaction styles
There are some people for whom, when you have their attention, it's as though you're the only other person in the room, or maybe the world. A friend of mine described the as a "blissful ... burning honesty that YOU'RE FUCKING AWESOME."
