today has been l-a-m-e. in way too many ways to enumerate.
suffice it to say i am spending the rest of the day in the apartment. if it were practical, i'd say with some blankets pulled up over my head.
sigh. tomorrow will be better, no?

just now i found a tiny shard of glass imbedded in the skin, right on my shoulder. this is because while i was standing at a bus stop tonight, the glass behind me suddenly shattered, for no discernable reason. a very surreal end to an entirely unremarkable birthday.
