Tonight I'm enjoying my own personal little pity party. Yar's out walking the dog, all excited about the prospect of a new job...for which I'm so very grateful. that things can get better. Equally nice to know that things can get worse. Today, things got worse. I guess I should be thankful I have insurance and only a $250 deductible. At this point, I'm ready to call this week a complete failure.

I love music. I don't play an instrument. I don't sing. Though I have a very good sense of rhythm and can pick up steps very quickly, I will never be the incredible dancer or skater I had always hoped I would be. So after much consideration and vascillation, the decision has been made.  I will be leaving my house at 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning to make my trek up to Los Angeles.  Hopefully this experience will be as fulfilling and cool as I'm hoping it will be.  Wish me luck.  ;)

So it turns out that Cote de Pablo will be filming a segment of EXTRA this Thursday at The Grove in Los Angeles.  The taping is at 9:30 a.m., which means that I'd have to be up and out the door by 5:30 in order to beat weekday commuter traffic.  I have patients scheduled for 4:00 p.m. that day, which means I'd have to be back in San Diego no later ( Read more... )
