Just passing along the word. I got a text message from Papa Bear Warren this morning. (For those who don't remember, he took a job in Houston and they moved down a month or two ago.)
As of 7:00 a.m. this morning the worst of Ike appeared to have passed them. They are without power and the neighboring building lost its roof. But they are fine
Poor sales in the semiconductor industry made for a bad year for my company. Three of us were laid off today.
If anyone has any leads for a Technical Writer (I write instruction manuals, online help, training materials, and do web pages) let me know the info or I can give you my résumé to pass along.
